All Cover Technology modular covers and structures are anchored to the supporting surface with special anchor systems, which ensure stable, secure fixing even in seismic areas.
Anchor systems are designed to suit the specific installation site and fall within three general categories:
- Anchor systems for concrete plinths
- Anchor systems for firm ground
- Anchor systems for loose ground
CONCRETE PLINTHS
The structure anchor system is removable since it consists of threaded bars fixed to the concrete by structural vinyl/epoxy resins.
A suitable number of holes are drilled with a hammer drill to allow the bars to be inserted in the concrete surface.
The foot of each truss is secured with threaded bars of different diameters and lengths depending on the type of plinth.
FIRM GROUND
The structure anchor system is removable since it consists of “steel micro-piles” driven into the ground, which can be extracted with a special lever or extraction equipment; therefore, reinforced concrete plinths are not necessary.
The foot of each truss is secured by driving in steel “micro-piles” of different diameters and lengths depending on the type of ground.
