Modular hangars can exceed 80 metres in width and are ideal for airplanes, helicopters, and even large aircraft.
All hangars by Cover Technology are characterised by special integrated doors and optimal wind and snow resistance, in compliance with the highest Italian and international standards. Thanks to their light, modular components and to their special anchoring system that allows for assembly on different types of soil even without foundations, our military structures and tents can be quickly deployed even under extreme weather conditions.

Our aircraft shelters are characterised by lightness, flexibility, and static resistance, and are designed for an easy use while ensuring excellent performance and safety even under extreme conditions. We offer several innovative solutions for the shelter of airplanes, helicopters, and even large aircraft.
The structures of aircraft and helicopter hangars consist of a metal frame in aluminium and steel, covered with a PVC technical membrane or sandwich panel, which guarantee durability over time and outstanding performance in aircraft shelter and service. The perfect structure and door layout guarantees excellent adaptability to the aircraft as well as the possibility of installing the same hangar in different configurations.

Several Configurations

Open hangars, runway hangars, tunnel hangars, large-door hangars for helicopters, service hangars.

Installation on Different Surfaces

Asphalt, concrete, natural soil, sand. Thanks to a special anchoring system (by mean of threaded bars, plates and nails, or spiral bars).

Snow-bearing Capacity

Ranging from 60 kg/m2 of the basic structure up to 400 kg/m2 for heavy snowfall areas.

CE Marking

Thanks to Cover Technology accreditation, the structural elements are provided with the CE Marking according to EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011.
The frame of aircraft hangars is load bearing and composed of extruded aluminium alloy profiles that create a lightweight yet weather-resistant structure. The structure is covered with fireproof, waterproof, and very resistant PVC membranes, ideal for different uses and situations.
